Meet Rosalinda
Book Editor .....
Rosalinda is a storyteller and a freelance editor that loves young adult, middle grade, picture book, and women’s fiction. Her admiration extends to the non-fiction topics of sport and education.

Prior to founding Word Bouquet, Rosalinda lived her life on the run- as a competitive distance runner.

Somehow the tradition of oral storytelling around the campfire evolved into telling tales at a fast clipped pace among teammates.

“What do you think about when you run?” That was what non-runners asked about solo runs. The answer: she spun tales or edited papers shifting whole paragraphs in her mind.

Oh, and her claim to fame is a twenty-fifth place finish at the Chicago Marathon.

In addition to running, Rosalinda’s career in education provided the opportunity to offer students feedback on writing. Her kaleidoscope of experiences provided decades of expertise in sport, education, and editing.

Rosalinda earned a specialization in developmental editing from the University of Washington and a fiction certificate from prestigious UCLA Extension and graduated with distinction. She also holds a bachelor’s degree in business and a master’s in education.

Rosalinda currently serves on the board of San Diego Professional Editing Network, where she is the treasurer.
